About us
Our mission
Established October 1986, the Sparks Soccer Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, predominantly LGBTQ+, social organization, that provides people an opportunity to play soccer in a positive and friendly environment. The San Diego Sparks strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, ethnic origin, and age. We welcome all players of all different skill-levels to participate and enjoy all the San Diego gay soccer fun.

Where we compete
The Sparks play in local San Diego soccer leagues and participate in tournaments locally, nationally, and internationally. We welcome all skill levels!
